Today was especially hard. I didn't sleep very well so not off to a great start.

Once I got home this morning I started getting ready for a shift at the club. My goal was to arrive around 10:20am and I did but right as I was about to put my outfit on I realized I forgot to bring shoes. You can't work without them so I turned around and drove back home. Then on my way out I managed to forget my phone but too much had already been lost so we'd have to do without it for the day.

I did my makeup, I set my intentions in the air and I set out to hustle these men out of their wallets.

First hour, nothing. Second hour, still nothing. Third hour, a few trickle in but more girls are starting to show up as well.

By the fourth hour it was clear it wasn't going to be a great day. The bar was full of the non-spending regulars. No one was even tipping on stage.

I talked to pretty much every man in the room, all of which had the same response. I'm not ready for dances or no thank you. I never like starting a shift with rejection so by my 10th or 11th I was pretty done.

I went on stage multiple times and they even had the multi stage rotation going but not a dollar was sent my way.

This may be my first negative day and by that I mean earnings. As a stripper you have to pay to work at the start of every shift. The amount you pay varies by shift and time you come in. At the time I came in the House Fee was $25.

The last 15 minutes of my shift I was tipped $5 for some conversation.

Another custom in the strip club is Tip Out. Every clubs Tip Out works differently but at my club the general Tip Out includes 1 Manager and the DJ.

I've been leaving early a lot because of the slow traffic and my manager has been getting onto me lately about it. They can't control when or how long we choose to work as sub contractors but they can revoke our contract at any time so it helps to stay in good graces with the management.
